Many people may wonder whether eating Ganoderma lucidum in summer will induce internal heat. The answer is no.

Compared with other tonics, Ganoderma lucidum is mild in nature, not warm or hot, not picky about the constitution, and suitable for consumption in all seasons. Given that everyone’s physique is different, people with a heat-related constitution can take Ganoderma lucidum together with chrysanthemum and honey. People with a deficiency-cold constitution can take Ganoderma lucidum together with Goji berries and red dates.

In the hot and humid summer, more attention should be paid to the protection of the heart. Ganoderma lucidum can soothe the nerves and nourish the mind, help sleep, and is beneficial to the health of the heart. So in summer, you can properly eat some Ganoderma lucidum to regulate your body.

It is worth mentioning that Ganoderma lucidum is mild in nature while Ganoderma sinense is lukewarm in nature.

Health preservation should conform to natural seasonal climate changes. Long-term consumption of Ganoderma helps to benefit both body and mind.
