Recently, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the National Postdoctoral Management Committee jointly issued the “Notice on Approving the Establishment of Postdoctoral Research Workstations in 497 Units including the Advanced Technology Institute of the University of Science and Technology of China”. As a leading enterprise in the Chinese Ganoderma health industry, GANOHERB has become one of the 25 units approved to establish a national post-doctoral research workstation in Fujian Province in 2020.
Post-doctoral research workstations refer to organizations that can recruit and train post-doctoral researchers within enterprises, scientific research and production-oriented institutions, and special regional institutions. It is an effective carrier for the combination of industry, academia and research to enhance the independent innovation capabilities of enterprises. Up to now, GANOHERB has three state-level research platforms – a national R&D center for edible fungi processing, a national and local joint engineering research center for cultivation and further processing of medicinal fungi, a post-doctoral research workstation, and a national demonstration academician expert workstation. In recent years, it has undertaken the national key research and development plan for the modernization of traditional Chinese medicine, the international scientific and technological cooperation special project, the national spark plan project, the provincial science and technology plan and other scientific research projects. It has won the Shennong China Agricultural Science and Technology Award and nearly 10 provincial and municipal science and technology awards, has participated in 15 national, industrial, local and group standards, and has owned 24 nationally authorized invention patents. It has been rated as “National High-tech Enterprise” for 13 consecutive years, making important contributions to the development of industry technology.
